Imagine your child swinging softly in a blanket or dancing with you around a maypole. Village provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that includes creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, your baby's growth and development are stimulated and all of his senses engaged.
Kindermusik Village, for children newborn to 18 months of age, incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement. High quality, professionally created class and At Home materials include Kindermusik Foundations of Learning, insights based on current research that educate parents about their babies' unique development.

Welcome to a world full of Feathers! Experience a wide range of songs, movement activities, object play, and vocal play relating to our feathered friends. The Australian Kookaburra, the African Ostrich, and many more birds from across the world are featured in songs, dances and poems. Both Jazz and Classical selections, a Yiddish Folk Song, a Muskogean melody and Mother Goose rhymes set to music are just a few of the colorful and exciting pieces in this curriculum. Also included is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Woody Guthrie’s poem, “Grassey Grass Grass”.
See your baby’s face sparkle as we sing “Hello-Lah” with his name in the song each week. Baby will then benefit from intentional touch to “Grassey Grass Grass” and we will exercise his limbs to “Once I Saw a Little Bird.” Your baby will learn to socialize while dancing with you to “Gee, But It’s Great to Meet a Friend” and enjoy rocking to “In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree” and “Sleep, My Little Bird.” Babies will explore various child-safe instruments such as egg shakers while singing “Kookaburra” and drums will listening to “Duck Dance”. Babies get a head-start on learning to relax while listening to beautiful quiet time music. Babies learn language and the art of conversation from interaction with you. “Who’s Making All That Noise?” is a fun way of exploring bird sounds with baby. Babies love dancing to “Duck Dance” and “Alouette” and love anticipating the movements. Baby will handle humongous scarves, drums, egg shakers, chime balls, rainsticks, resonator bars, mirrors and baby bells as he explores his fun world.

When you register, everyone will complete a Registration Form downloaded from my website. Mail the Registration Form with your At Home Materials Fee (or the $5.00 Materials Fee) to me at: 1903 Winchester Drive, Parma 44134-4838. This will eliminate all guess work on my part when placing AHM order with Kindermusik International. And I will have all of the information I need in terms of addresses and phone numbers. Etc. This will also eliminate my collecting AHM Fees on our first day of classes. Make all checks payable to me – Susan H. Joseph.

To avoid the $10.00 LATE FEE, you must register by Monday, August 30th.
Any registrations after 8/30/10 means that the LATE FEE applies to the AHM FEE.

Can you sound like an elephant? Or hop like a bunny? Our Time encourages your child to uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control and communications skills. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming and object identification foster language skills. Creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills.
Kindermusik Our Time is designed for children 1 1⁄2 years to 3 years of age. Along with an accompanying parent or caregiver, children meet weekly for a 45-minute class and enjoy singing, moving, listening and interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. Exploration Time encourages a child's discovery of specially designed instruments, textures, sounds and movements; language skills are fostered with singing, sound imitation, and vocal play; Music & Movement Story Time encourages emergent literacy skills; and creative dancing affirms a child's urge to move.

As in the previous units of Our Time, the central focus of Milk & Cookies is the toddler's need for security balanced with his need for independence. Milk & Cookies songs and activities promote interaction between parent and child where the parent gently guides their child's learning and the process of scaffolding takes place. Capturing the security, excitement and familiarity of "at home" moments is the ideal theme for empowering the parent to act as teacher through scaffolding. What better way for parents to lead their child than with familiar, everyday home activities such as cooking in the kitchen, dusting and washing clothes?
Milk and Cookies Home Materials: The child's at home materials are packaged in their own distinctive kit. The Milk & Cookies At Home kit consists of a Home Activity book, 2 CDs, 2 literature books and a stir xylophone. These items are packaged together in a high quality, deep purple insulated lunch bag.
Imagine the aroma of baking cookies, the coziness of the family kitchen, the chatter among sisters, brothers and grandmas, granddads, mom and dad, and the anticipation and excitement of having friends come to visit. These moments at home at home are times to be shared and treasured. These special moments are captured in Milk & Cookies.
