Birthday
Parties!

Location:
I teach at the Seven Hills Community Recreation Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at the Parma Hospital Health Education Center on Wednesdays and Fridays. The OUR TIME curriculum is taught at both locations; the VILLAGE curriculum is only taught in Seven Hills, and the IMAGINE THAT! curriculum is only in Parma. Please see the (downloadable) Registration Form for exact days and times and locations.

New for Seven Hills:
When you register, everyone will complete a Registration Form downloaded from my website. Mail the Registration Form with your At Home Materials Fee (or the $5.00 Materials Fee) to me at: 1903 Winchester Drive, Parma 44134-4838. This will eliminate all guess work on my part when placing AHM order with Kindermusik International. And I will have all of the information I need in terms of addresses and phone numbers. Etc. This will also eliminate my collecting AHM Fees on our first day of classes. Make all checks payable to me – Susan H. Joseph.

 When & How You Pay:
1. Whether you are paying AHM Fees, Semester Fees, Registration Fee, or purchasing other Kindermusik supplies from me, any check you write should be made out to me – Susan H. Joseph.
2. The AHM Fee or the Registration Fee must accompany your completed Registration Form.
3. Semester Fees are due on or before the first day of class. In full.
4.

You may certainly pay in full at the time of registration.

When You Will Receive Your AHM:
You will receive your AHM on the first day of classes unless you have registered late. Anyone registering less than two weeks before the start of a new semester is considered a late registrant, and will be assessed a $10.00 late fee. Kindermusik International experiences high volume ordering/peak seasons in September and January, so I place my order two weeks prior to our start date.

Siblings:
Siblings not enrolled in classes or enrolled in a different class, are always welcome in my Kindermusik classroom – as long as they are not disruptive to the learning process for others. I address this issue in a more detail in my Policies and Procedures booklet. Just keep in mind that the child who is registered in a Kindermusik class requires your full attention and participation. I ask that you not take advantage of my generosity here. Should a problem arise because of a sibling, I will speak with you privately.

Some Final Thoughts:
At Home Materials are not an optional purchase. They go hand in hand with the weekly Kindermusik classroom experience, and they’re wonderful! Kindermusik families all over the world can’t wait to get their hands on the new books and CDs and instruments and games and…

Please note the ages noted for each curriculum are discretionary, and not engraved in stone. I strongly urge parents not to start children in the Imagine That! curriculum until at least age 3 1/2. I have found that most children who have just turned 3 have a difficult time in the IT! Classroom.

If I know your child, I will help you with your placement decisions. We want our children to feel comfortable and secure in their learning environments. To be ready to move from one curriculum to the next. I love the Imagine That! units. They’re outstanding, but don’t push it. Your preschooler must be able to follow my directions; obey some pretty basic classroom rules, and be able to communicate appropriately in class.

As with all Kindermusik curricula, being shy is not a crime, and has no bearing on whether or not your child is benefiting from the Kindermusik program. We know that they are!

I silently (and sometimes not so silently) rejoice when that “shy” child opens up in class for the first time. I call those “WOW DAYS!”
